T'was the Night before Finals

Twas the Night before Finals
And all through the hall
All the students were workin
Towards the last test of fall

Few sounds were heard
But the rustle of pens
The frantic note-taking
as if it was the worlds-end

As the clock struck 2
And fatigue had set in
All the students did swear
To what did happen then

A knock on the window
But who should appear?
It was the answer-fairy
And his tiny reindeer

“Are you struggling this finals?”
The good fairy asked
Yes, chorused students
Their fear was not masked

Let me help you, said he
He waved his wand ‘round
With a wink and a nod
their answers were found!

They next morning they sat
Through the tests as needed
They thought they passed-no doubt!
Answer-Fairy had succeeded

However they found
He’d had the wrong exam
That dirty answer-fairy
Had run them a scam

So take this as a lesson
And study real hard
Cause that fairy is a sham
He’ll leave your grade scarred
